Curd Rice



Ingredients:

  • Rice (300gm)
  • Mustard 1/2 table-spoon
  • Urad dal 1/2 table-spoon
  • Ginger (2-inch chopped into pieces)
  • Red chili 2
  • Coriander leaves
  • Vegetable oil (sunflower oil) 2 table-spoons
  • Curd (100 gm)

(Serves for 3 people)

Method:
Boil the rice in the rice cooker.

Take the ingredients as shown below.

Take the frying pan. Add 2 table-spoons of vegetable oil (sunflower oil).

Put Mustard and Urad dal.

Add ginger and fry it for a minute.

Then add two red chilies and coriander leaves. Fry it for 2 mins.

Now put the fried mixture into the boiled rice.

Add the curd as required.

Mix such that the fried mixture and curd gets well with the boiled rice. And the curd rice is ready.

Tomato Rice



Ingredients:

  • Rice (400gm)
  • Tomatoes 5/6
  • Onion 2 (medium size)
  • Green chili 2
  • Mutton Masala 2 table-spoons
  • Coriander leaves
  • Vegetable oil (sunflower oil) 2 table-spoons

(Serves for 4 people)

Method:

Boil the rice in the rice cooker.

Take onion, tomato, green chili and coriander leaves.

Cut into pieces as shown below.

Take the frying pan. Add 2 table-spoons of vegetable oil (sunflower oil).

Put the cut onion and green chili. Fry it for 3-5 minutes.

Add the cut tomatoes and coriander leaves. Fry it for another 5-7 mins.

Add 2 table-spoons of Mutton Masala and salt as required.

Add 150ml to 200ml of water.

Boil the mixture till the water disappears.

Then add the boiled rice into the mixture.

Mix such that the tomato masala mixture gets well with the boiled rice.

And the tomato rice is ready.

Potato Fry



Ingredients:

  • 4/5 Potatoes
  • 2 table-spoons of vegetable oil (sunflower oil)
  • 1/2 table-spoon of red-chilli powder
  • salt as required

Method:

Take 4/5 Potatoes.

Slice the potatoes as shown below.

Put the sliced potatoes into the frying pan. Add two table-spoons of vegetable oil. Fry the potatoes for 5 minutes.

Then add 1/2 table-spoon of red-chilli powder and salt as required.

Fry the potatoes till it turns golden-brown in color. The potato fry is ready.
